Mai sunt cel putin 2 intercalate, mai ales ca un diesel dinacela are pe la 3.000cp.

dap, apar undeva pe la 00:18-00:20, dar la 6020m lungime cam cat tonaj o avea? la infrastructura noastra cred ca ar ajunge pe sub pamant la destinatie

Dupa cum frumos sublinia cineva pe railpictures, BigBoy avea undeva peste 8.000cp si inca nu s-a construit o locomotiva diesel care sa atinga aceasta putere. Totusi asi putea adauga ca incet-incet ne apropiem   .

Big Boy, in functie de calitatea carbunelui folosit, produce de la 6,290 pana la 7,000 cai-putere si genereaza un efort tractiv de 602.18 kN, substantial mai putin ca un AC6000CW, concluzand, mai multi cai nu inseamna mai multa putere, un Alco RSD-15 de 2400 CP din '56 are un efort tractiv mai mare ca musca de EA. Locomotiva diesel care insumeaza cel mai impresionant numar de cai este "Centennial" DDA40X la 6,600 CP si un efort tractiv de 610 kN. Mai exista si locomotiva experimentala a UP-ului care foloseste o turbina cu gaz, atingand usor 8500CP.
